An 8kW Electric Heat Kit is an electric resistance heating component designed to be installed inside HVAC systems such as air handlers or electric furnaces. It provides 8,000 watts of heating capacity (approx. 27,300 BTU/hr), commonly used as a supplemental or emergency heat source in heat pump systems, or as the primary source of heat in electric-only systems.
