The 230-DL16 is a condensate drain line (often called a “mini-split drain line” or “mini slit drain line”) designed for ductless HVAC / mini-split systems. Its purpose is to carry off condensation (water) generated by the evaporator / cooling coils in the indoor or outdoor unit, by gravity (i.e., without pressure). It is commonly supplied in a long roll (160 ft) and is cut to needed length in the field, with pre-marked cuts to facilitate installation. It is also made to resist kinking, clogging, and environmental degradation (e.g. UV exposure).

It is used in installations where a dedicated drain line is needed for condensate removal in mini-split systems, often routed along the refrigerant line set or inside a cover to protect it.
